Our Northern Lights quilts were inspired by the classic look of knitted Fair Isle designs. This modern, single-toned version of the original tri-colored design features a bold, dark background to highlight white stars and plus signs ... for a stunningly textural quilt made simple! This pattern uses a combination of traditional and strip piecing (whenever possible) to assemble sets of "building blocks" that will then be used to assemble larger quilt blocks.
