I took a cruise on the Murray River in 2024. I wanted to do something which celebrates the beauty of this river, which is a magnificent life source winding through south-eastern Australia. It features some of our iconic Australian animals in Applique, with English paper piecing and simple pieced blocks. Nice and scrappy looking, it lends itself to using up fabrics from your stash.
