A left‑hand icon is printed directly on the ruler for quick identification. The exclusive non‑slip grip lets the ruler glide smoothly over the fabric while positioning, then stay firmly in place with light pressure to prevent slipping as you cut. Black and white markings are easy to read, with a 1in grid divided into 1/8in and 1/4in increments.

Use the black numbers on white dots and the 1/4in grip sides to cut whole inches. Turn the ruler to use the white numbers on black dots and the 1/2in grip sides for half‑inch increments using the Turn‑a‑Round feature. Two adjoining sides include 1/4in dashed lines to help trim seam allowances, and a 45‑degree diagonal line makes trimming half‑square triangles accurate and efficient.
