This 8‑1/2in x 18‑1/2in rectangle ruler from Creative Grids® is designed for cutting wider strips and squares while offering all the signature features quilters rely on. Made in the USA from high‑quality acrylic, it includes precision‑etched measurements and the Creative Grids® exclusive non‑slip grip that lets the ruler glide smoothly over the fabric while positioning, then stay firmly in place with light pressure to prevent slipping as you cut. The black and white markings are easy to read on any fabric.

The ruler is printed with 1in grids divided into 1/8in and 1/4in increments. Use the black numbers on white dots and the 1/4in grip side to cut whole inches, or turn the ruler to follow the white numbers on black dots and the 1/2in grip side for half‑inch increments using the Turn‑a‑Round feature. Two adjoining sides include 1/4in dashed lines to help trim seam allowances, and the white and black 45° lines make trimming half‑square triangles, flying geese, and squares set on point fast and accurate. A 30°/60° line adds versatility for cutting diamonds and marking diamond cross‑hatch quilting. Horizontal and vertical white lines mark the center of the ruler, making it easy to fussy‑cut stripes, motifs, and borders. A printed QR code links to a tutorial and pattern ideas.
