Accent triangles bracket squares of print fabrics in these vertical strings of lanterns. The design was planned to let prints shine, though pieced scrappy blocks, crumb blocks or embroidered blocks replacing the print squares would be interesting variations. All angles are achieved with stitch-and-flip (snowballed corners) construction, creating a complex design while cutting only squares. Included baby (40.75 in. x 53.5 in.) and throw (54.5 in. x 71.5 in.) sizes use the same layout.
