Linen Letters

Linen Letters was inspired by the stacks of letters my husband's parents exchanged while Dad was overseas in the military service, each page carrying their thoughts, hopes, and quiet devotion. Though most were written on plain tablet paper, I chose notebook paper for the design, a familiar, comforting format that instantly evokes the act of writing and preserves the warmth and intimacy of those handwritten messages in the quilt. Quilt finishes at 45" x 60". Raw edge fusible applique. Full upper and lower case alphabet included.
