We'd suggest a half-day class for this project and would recommend that students plan to make just ONE bag in the class. The process is exactly the same for the small or the large bag, so they can make either size. We recommend that students read the pattern and watch the Add-on Videos before coming to class. To make best use of class time, we also recommend that they come to class with everything cut out and labeled for their project and that they complete the basic steps to prepare the zippers, fuse the interfacings, and prepare and attach the Zipper Tab. So, they should complete all of step I. Cut on page 2 and step II. Prepare Components on pages 2 and 3 of the pattern BEFORE coming to class.
