Why Quilts of Valor

A Quilt of Valor is a handmade quilt awarded to a service member or veteran touched by war. Each one is pieced, quilted and bound by volunteers, and each one says the same thing: thank you for your service and sacrifice. The Jeep Invasion supports programs for veterans and first responders, so it's a natural place to spread the word.

Meet Capital Piecemakers

Capital Piecemakers is an independent Quilts of Valor group in Jefferson City, and Countryside Quilts® is proud to support it. The name says it: makers piecing quilts together, and piecing together a community of quilters who give back. Members make Quilts of Valor and present them to local veterans, and the group reviews every nomination. Quilters of every skill level are welcome to join.
