This one is definitely “by popular demand” as you guys have been asking me for a tree skirt for sooo long. This is an easy one to put together with some fabulous holly blocks and some berries. It is pieced in a regular “quilt” way and then bound. No circular cutting or anything fancy.... just regular binding all the way around. As for cutting the center and the slit? If you have an artificial tree and don’t want to do the slit... you can do that and save the ribbons for some special gift giving. As for those of us natural tree people, we will need the slit and have the opportunity to use the beautiful coordinating ribbons to this collection This is definitely something that is “doable” so no need to be scared… I promise! The skirt is made on the larger size so that it will cover up any larger tree and still have plenty of “skirt” left for all those presents. Quilt Size: 57" x 57"

Foundation paper pieced snowflakes take center stage in both of these hexagonal quilt designs. Make a table topper or add a slit and center opening to make an elegant tree skirt to dress up the base of your Christmas tree. Choose from two sizes for each of the two designs: 34"" or 45"" across for the red design on the cover, and 43"" or 57"" for the green one. Templates for the paper piecing feature trimmed points to assist with alignment when joining pieced sections. Suggested sizes to cut patches for paper-piecing take the guesswork out of your cutting and preparation.
