The centerpiece of the 2026–2027 Hoffman Challenge is Coffee Shoppe, a stunning new batik collection featuring 18 rich and cozy tones—from earthy browns and deep blues to taupe, burnt orange, and charcoal. Participants are required to use at least 5 of the 18 featured batiks and are encouraged to highlight their creations with threads from the coordinating Aurifil thread set— ten small spools of 50wt thread in a warm, inviting palette that perfectly complements the collection’s comforting hues.
