Overview

Welcome to Countryside Quilts®. The terms "we," "us," and "our" refer to Countryside General Stores, LLC, doing business as Countryside Quilts®, a subsidiary of Central Plains Legacy Group, LLC. We operate this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products, and services (the "Services"). Our store is powered by Shopify.

These Terms of Service ("Terms"), together with the policies referenced in them, describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services. They include important information about your legal rights, including warranty disclaimers and limits of liability. By visiting, using, or purchasing through the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

Section 1 – Access and Account

By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state of residence, and that you consent to any of your minor dependents using the Services on devices you own or manage.

To use the Services or make a purchase, you may be asked for information such as your email address and your billing, payment, and shipping information. You represent that all information you provide is correct, current, and complete, and that you have the right to provide it.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity on your account. You may not transfer, sell, or assign your account to anyone else.

Section 2 – Our Products

We make every effort to show our products accurately. Colors and appearance may differ from what you see on screen depending on your device and settings. We do not warrant that products will match your expectations or appear exactly as shown.

Product descriptions may change at any time without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time and may limit the quantities offered to any person or region.

Section 3 – Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order at our discretion. Your order is accepted only after we confirm it and receive your payment. Please review your order carefully before submitting it; we may not be able to change or cancel an order once it has been accepted.

If we decline, change, or cancel an order, we will notify you using the email address, billing address, or phone number provided with the order.

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy. Purchases are for personal or household use, not commercial resale or export.

Section 4 – Order Verification

To protect customers from unauthorized use of their payment cards, every online order is reviewed before it ships. An order may be held if the billing address does not match the address on file with the card issuer, if the order is placed from a location far from the shipping address, or if other details cannot be verified. We may contact you at the phone number provided to confirm the purchase.

If we cannot verify an order, we will cancel it and refund the full amount to the original payment method. We may refuse or cancel any order, including after payment has been authorized, when we believe it may be unauthorized or fraudulent.

Section 5 – Prices and Billing

Prices, discounts, and promotions may change without notice. The price charged is the price in effect when you place your order, as shown in your order confirmation email. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include taxes or shipping.

Online prices may differ from prices in our physical store. Promotions are governed by their own terms; if a promotion's terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion's terms govern.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and payment information. You represent that (i) your payment information is true and complete, (ii) you are authorized to use the payment method, (iii) your charges will be honored by your card issuer, and (iv) you will pay all charges at the posted prices, including shipping and applicable taxes.

Section 6 – Payment Disputes

If you see a charge from us that you do not recognize, or you have a problem with an order, please contact us first at support@countrysidequilts.com or 573-616-1670. We will work with you to resolve it promptly, including a refund where our policies provide one. Filing a dispute with your card issuer before contacting us can delay a resolution.

Section 7 – Shipping and Delivery

Shipping terms are described in our Shipping Policy. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we deliver products to the carrier.

Section 8 – Intellectual Property

The Services, including all trademarks, text, images, graphics, product reviews, video, audio, and their design and arrangement, are owned by us, our affiliates, or our licensors and are protected by U.S. and international intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Services without our written permission. Countryside Quilts® and our other names, logos, and slogans are our trademarks and may not be used without our written permission. Shopify's name and marks belong to Shopify. All other marks belong to their respective owners.

Section 9 – Optional Tools

The Services may give you access to tools provided by third parties, which we do not monitor or control. These tools are provided "as is" without warranties or endorsement, and your use of them is at your own risk. New features we add to the Services are subject to these Terms.

Section 10 – Third-Party Links

The Services may link to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, products, or practices, and you access them at your own risk. Please direct questions about third-party products to the third party.

Section 11 – Relationship with Shopify

Countryside Quilts® is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Countryside General Stores, LLC. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and Countryside General Stores, LLC, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with Countryside General Stores, LLC.

Section 12 – Privacy

Personal information we collect through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy. Certain information may also be subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy. Because the Services are hosted by Shopify, Shopify processes information about your use of the Services to provide and improve them.

Section 13 – Feedback and Reviews

If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews, or other content ("Feedback"), you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display it for any purpose, including commercial use. You represent that you have the rights to your Feedback, that you have disclosed any compensation received for it, and that it does not violate anyone's rights or contain unlawful or harmful content. We are not required to keep Feedback confidential, pay for it, or respond to it, and we may remove Feedback at our discretion.

Section 14 – Errors and Omissions

Information on the Services may occasionally contain errors in descriptions, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, transit times, or availability. We may correct errors and change or cancel orders affected by them at any time, including after you have submitted your order.

Section 15 – Prohibited Uses

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes. You may not use them to break any law; infringe anyone's intellectual property; harass or harm our employees or anyone else; submit false or misleading information, including false payment or identity information; send spam; impersonate anyone; or interfere with the Services' operation or security. You also agree not to upload malicious code, scrape or copy the Services, collect others' personal information, or circumvent any security or access controls. We may suspend or terminate access for any violation.

Section 16 – Automated Agents

Any software agent that accesses the Services on someone's behalf must identify itself in its user-agent string as "Agent/[agent name]," must not conceal that it is automated or bypass measures intended to distinguish people from software, must answer truthfully when asked whether it is automated, and must stop accessing the Services when we ask. We may limit or block agent access by technical means.

Section 17 – Termination

We may end your access to the Services at any time without notice. You remain responsible for all amounts owed up to that date. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Intellectual Property, Feedback, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law, will continue to apply.

Section 18 – Disclaimer of Warranties

Information on the Services is provided for general purposes only, and any reliance on it is at your own risk. EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY STATED BY US, THE SERVICES AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE DISCLAIMERS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Section 19 – Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEITHER WE NOR OUR PARENT COMPANY, AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, CONTRACTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR LICENSORS, NOR SHOPIFY AND ITS AFFILIATES, WILL BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR REPLACEMENT COSTS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ANY PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THEIR POSSIBILITY.

Section 20 – Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Countryside General Stores, LLC, Central Plains Legacy Group, LLC, Shopify, and our affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and service providers from any claims, losses, and reasonable attorneys' fees arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or your use of the Services.

Section 21 – Severability, Waiver, and Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted and the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms and the policies posted on this site are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services and replace any prior versions.

Section 22 – Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms without notice to you.

Section 23 – Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Cole County, Missouri.

Section 24 – Changes to These Terms

The current version of these Terms is always available on this page. We may update them by posting changes here, and we will give notice of material changes as required by law. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept them.
