The Stripology® Squared Ruler, designed by Gudrun Erla of GE Designs for Creative Grids®, helps you square up blocks up to 12‑1/2in with speed and accuracy. Made in the USA from high‑quality acrylic, it features precision‑etched measurements and the Creative Grids® exclusive non‑slip grip that lets the ruler glide smoothly over the fabric while positioning, then stay firmly in place with light pressure to prevent slipping as you cut. The black and white markings are easy to read on any fabric, and cutting slits are spaced every 1/2in.

Whole‑inch and half‑inch increments are clearly marked, with additional lines for making 1/4in and 3/4in cuts. Use the black lines to square up blocks in whole inches up to 12in, and the white lines to square up blocks in half‑inch increments up to 12‑1/2in. For quick reference, 1‑1/2in cuts are highlighted with black stars and 2‑1/2in cuts with black squares. The ruler is excellent for fussy cutting and trimming embroidered blocks—the flexible acrylic adjusts to the thickness of embroidery for accurate trimming.
