One side features a 1in grid with 1/8in markings, with all numbers printed outside the grid so they remain visible while you work. Popular 1‑1/2in cuts are highlighted with white stars, and 2‑1/2in cuts are marked with white squares for quick reference during both horizontal and vertical cutting. The mat also includes 45‑degree and 60‑degree diagonal lines for accurate angle trimming. The reverse side is blank, making it ideal for trimming blocks, paper‑piecing, and tasks where an uncluttered surface is preferred.
