I do not enjoy paper piecing and needed to create words for a quilt my guild was presenting to a past president. So I created the Alphabet using strip piecing with 1 inch strips that deliver 2.5inch tall finished letters (~4.5 inch tall with background) and numbers that can be combined to create words, dates or a sampler wall hanging. Two bonus blocks finish the sampler (heart, star).
