One side features a 1in grid with 1/8in markings, with all numbers printed outside the grid so they remain visible while you work. Popular precut sizes are highlighted, including 1‑1/2in cuts marked with white stars and 2‑1/2in cuts marked with white squares. Yardage references from 1/8 yard through 1 yard are printed for quick measurement, and 45‑degree and 60‑degree diagonal lines support accurate angle cutting.

The reverse side is designed specifically for use with the Creative Grids® Stripology® rulers. This side includes 1in vertical lines, 1/2in horizontal lines, and 45‑degree diagonal lines. The simplified layout keeps the surface uncluttered so fabric and rulers can be aligned cleanly along the spaced 1/2in horizontal grid lines.

This double‑sided format gives you a detailed cutting surface on one side and a streamlined Stripology‑optimized surface on the other, making the mat versatile for piecing, trimming, and strip cutting.
