Dog Star Quilt Pattern

Original quilt pattern design by Lindlee Smith of Plains and Pine. This design is a modern variation on the classic Lone Star Quilt. There are 8 large center diamonds and they are each outlined with 3 fabrics to create a continuous outlined look around the center star. There are 3 star sizes in this pattern: Small (33" x 33", Medium (52.5" x 52.5"), and Large (64.5" x 64.5"). These sizes can be made as is or they can each be made into larger quilt sizes with additional background fabric. There are 8 total quilt sizes in the pattern. Skill Level: Intermediate - It requires cutting and sewing on a bias and sewing with a consistent 1/4" seam. The pattern includes tips on how to do this accurately.
