The Forty-Love quilt is a modern tennis-inspired design featuring a pieced tennis ball sitting on the court. Half rectangle triangles are used to create movement and a striping effect similar to the appearance of grass tennis courts. Both yardage and Fat Quarter friendly, this pattern is available in two finished sizes: Throw (56"" x 70""), Twin (70"" x 84""). For the intermediate quilter, techniques include half rectangle triangles, quarter square triangles, strip piecing and piecing long borders.
