The “Country Cardinals” panel throw quilt features the large panel surrounded by five (5) borders. Border 2 is made up of half-square triangle blocks, and there are four (4) stitch-and-flip blocks in the corners of border 4. All other borders are made with cut strips.

FABRIC: Country Cardinals was designed by Danielle Murray for Wilmington Prints and features a large 24.5? x 44.5? country Winter scenic cardinal and barn panel along with a variety of coordinates including more cardinals, barns, snow covered trees, holly, gingham and wood textures.

100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold gentle cycle, tumble dry low gentle cycle, do not use bleach, fabric softener not recommended.

Fabrics printed in Korea.

The kit contains a FREE copy of the Country Cardinals pattern/instructions by Wilmington Prints along with enough fabric to complete the throw quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately. Fabric Utopia carries several coordinates from the collection that can be purchased for your backing.

The overall finished size of this quilt as pictured is 56.5? x 76.5?.

Printed fabrics in this kit are from Country Cardinals collection designed by Danielle Murray for Wilmington Prints. Pictures 2 thru 10 show the fabrics included in the kit. There are no substitutions in this kit.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner

The pattern recommends 4-7/8 yards of fabric for the backing assuming a 44/45? width fabric or 2 yards if using a 108? wide backing along with an 65? x 85? piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print or fabric design matching. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.
