Wistyria Editions Felting Needles are the hands tools necessary to do needle felting. Each needle has a long shank with a narrow shaft that has a very sharp tip. The needles have notched barbs on the sides toward the bottom of the shaft. Needle felting is a process which uses barbed needles to interlock wool fibers to form a more condensed material. Wool fibers have scales which when rubbed against each other catch and lock into place to create the denser material called felt! The needles are made of metal and extremely sharp! This set is great for Medium Coarse and are a good multi purpose tool.
