An “in between” version of the original Tucker Trimmer I tool, this handy ruler allows you to do all of the same functions as the first except that the sizes of the units are in 1/4in or 3/4in increments. Although these particular sizes are not nearly as popular as the 1/2in and whole inch increments available on the Tucker Trimmer I, they are sometimes part of your quilting projects. And if you’ve ever tried to trim down a 2.75in hourglass unit you will highly appreciate this tool. The diagonal guidelines on the Tucker Trimmer II will cross precisely at the center of a 2.75in unit so finding the center is a breeze. A great supplemental tool to have in your ruler collection.

[Product Specifications]

The Tucker Trimmer tool was designed to help quilter’s quickly and easily trim down units that are made with triangles: half square triangle squares, quarter square triangle squares (hourglass units), and combinations of half square and quarter square triangle squares (combination units). It has multiple diagonals which allow you to align ruler guide lines with unit seam lines to quickly locate the exact center of pieced units. This makes trim down easy, precise, and perfect every time. No more figuring, or guessing, or struggling to find a center point. I use it for much more than just trimming however and consider it my “must have” tool every time I head to my cutting table.

A larger version of the Petite Hunter's Star tool, this ruler uses the same easy strip piecing steps and same accurate trim down processes, but it results in blocks more appropriate for those larger quilt projects. The tool includes step by step illustrated instructions, charts for future projects, and a “basic recipe” included to get quilters started on their first set of 16 blocks. The "basic recipe" has over 40 layout variations which can be seen in our Basic Recipe Razzle Dazzle photo gallery. The Large Star ruler makes the star points larger than those made with the Petite Star ruler thus giving those 7in and 8in blocks a slightly different look from blocks made with the Petite Star tool. So if full size quilts (twin, queen and king) are your passion, this is the tool that will help you make them quicker, more accurately and with much less stress!

The "basic recipe" has over 40 layout variations which can be seen in our Basic Recipe Razzle Dazzle photo gallery. I've done it again, designed yet another tree template set to make more adorable trees! I think these trees will steal your heart like they've done mine! Skinny Mini will make trees to match the height of my Mini Trees, the largest size of my tree template sets, yet they're only as wide as my Tiny Trees. If you add trunks as described in the included instructions that come with each set, they will measure 3" x 9" finished, BUT I'm already designing more than just trees with them! As with all of my tree template sets, just cut strips of fabric as described, then cut trees or tree backgrounds & sit to sew quick little tree blocks! Dritz Quilter's Slip N Grips 3141D are highly recommended additions for all of my plastic templates. They're pressure sensitive fabric grabbers and can be easily applied to templates. With Slip N Grips your templates can be slipped across fabric and will grip when pressure is applied. The Tree blocks coordinate perfectly with my Mini Dresden & Tiny Dresden plate blocks & also my Tiny Tree, Little Tree & Mini Tree blocks! Look for patterns using this template.

The Loop Easy is our most innovative Creative Stitching tool, designed to make perfect loops each and every time! Each set contains three templates. Each template is composed of steps that differ in height (increments: 1/8", 3/16", and 1/4in). Steps differ in length to accommodate various weights of thread. White 1/8in guides assist in marking and stitch placement. Perfect for the raised leaf stitch (instructions can be found in Creative Stitching Second Edition pg 175), grass, and blossoms, or any stitch that requires loops! Loop Easy can also be used as a measuring tool for fine details, as the guides are 1/8in apart. Directions: 1. First, remove the protective paper adhesive from each template. 2. Place Loop Easy on your project where you'd like the loops to be (for the Raised Leaf Stitch, use the edge of the Loop Easy to mark your stem length with a chalk pencil) 3. Decide the length of your loops and choose the appropriate template and step for your desired loop size 4. Bring your needle to the front of your work next to one of the white guidelines, then bring your needle to the back of your work next to the same guideline, on the other side of the template. 5. Continue this process for as many loops as you would like, using the white guidelines for even spacing 6. When you have the number of loops needed, pull your Loop Easy template out of the loops and complete your stitch as desired.

Designed exclusively in our studio for accurate placement and length of spokes, these special templates were the first in our series of Creative Stitching tools. Each set contains six templates; each template has a different number of spokes, ranging from five to ten. With 1/8in guides, you can make a circle ranging in size from a 1/4in to 1-1/2in in circumference. The possibilities are endless! Use for Whipped + Woven Circles, Picot's, Eyelet Wheels + much, much more! Dimensions: 2-3/4in x 2-1/8in x 3/4in Conveniently sized and great for stitching on the go! Directions: First, remove the protective paper adhesive from each template. Then determine where you'd like your stitch to appear and how many spokes you'd like it to have. Place it on your piece. There are five white circles connecting the spokes an 1/8" apart - these will help you keep all spokes the same size. Apply a small amount of pressure to keep the template in place. Choose a circle size for your stitch and place your chalk pencil inside the templates spoke at this point, drawing a line to the center. Move to the next spoke making sure to start from the same circle as the previous spoke. Repeat this process until you have traced all the way around the template. Alternatively, these templates can also be used without tracing, just hold them to your piece and stitch right through them! Most needles will work, an exception would be a Milliners #15. It's that easy, perfectly symmetrical woven stitches every time!

The Double Wedding Ring (DWR) Large template set (5 templates) is just like its highly popular sibling, the original CutRite™ Slit 'N Sew™ DWR template set, except that it makes a larger 20 inch ring. (The original DWR template set makes a 16 inch ring.) This will save you time and effort making larger quilts since fewer rings are required. The DWR is a beautiful and classic design but unfortunately has historically been confined to more advanced quilters. No more! The DWR has been "Liberated at Last!" as we reconceived how this gorgeous design can be accomplished by confident beginners through more advanced quilters. How? By dividing the DWR design into blocks - four blocks make a ring. The DWR Large templates make a 10 inch finished block which, when you put four blocks together, makes a 20 inch finished ring. And, the patent-pending Slit 'N Sew method makes piecing super easy. Plus, our block method allows new design variations and possibilities never before possible! You'll have endless fun and get your projects done with this template set.
