This Kwik Superstar Tote uses a mix of techniques: foundation paper piecing, stack & slash, improve piecing, and traditional piecing to achieve the final product. The star, bottom of the tote, and the pocket are easily competed with fabric from your scrap bins or your stash since such a small amount of fabric is needed. The main body of the tote (excluding the star) is made from a stack & slash technique; you will end up creating a scrappy background using 10in squares of 10 different fabrics. If you don't want a scrappy look, just 1 fabric works too! Use the recommended additional items to achieve the effect of a stand-up alone bag. Finished size: 17in high x 6in wide x 14in long.
