Purse: 6-1/2in H x 10-1/2in to 12-1/2in W x 4-3/4in D Reversible Mini Tote: 9in H x 11in to 16in W x 6in D CLASS INFO: Night and Day makes a great class for all levels of sewists, from beginners to more advanced makers. We'd suggest three half-day classes or two full-day classes for this project. For full-day classes, we'd suggest making the Purse on Day 1 and the Mini Tote on Day 2. If you split it into three half-day classes, we'd suggest this order: Class 1: Begin making PURSE. Cover Steps II through IV-E (pages 3 through 7). This includes preparation of the various components of the bag (straps and tabs, flap) and students will begin assembly of the purse. Students can finish those steps at home if necessary. Cover steps III-F and G (pages 7 through 9) to complete assembly. Cover steps II through 5 (pages 10 through 15). We recommend that students read the pattern and watch the Add-on Videos before coming to class. They should also come to class with their fabric quilted and everything cut out and labeled for their project. So, for the Purse they should complete all of step I. Cut and Quilt on page 2 of the pattern before coming to class. For the Mini Tote, they should complete step I. Cut and Quilt on page 10 of the pattern before coming to class. Final Product: Bag/Tote/Purse. Technique Used: Standard Machine Sewing.
