Parts inventory from Larson Sewing Machine Services clears the way for faster turnaround as the Service Center works through a surge of repairs.

The Countryside Quilts® Service Center in Jefferson City will begin offering same-day sewing machine service during store hours starting October 23, 2026, depending on parts availability.

A recent influx of machines brought in for repair has pushed current sewing machine service scheduling to approximately four to six weeks. The Service Center’s updated work-order and scheduling system is expected to have that backlog cleared by October 23.

Same-day service is made possible in large part by an extensive inventory of sewing machine parts received from Larson Sewing Machine Services following the retirement of Mr. Larson. With many common parts now on hand, most machines can be serviced the day they arrive. When a part must be ordered, turnaround is usually one week or less.

Customers can request a sewing machine or scissor sharpening quote online at any time at countrysidequilts.com and track a machine’s progress with the ticket number on their receipt.

The Service Center is located at 2117 Missouri Blvd in Jefferson City and is open Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
