This was a block I first created for my AUTUMN FROLIC BLOCK OF THE MONTH program several years ago. The moment I created it with the leaf, I knew I wanted to add in at least one more autumnal motif and create it as a seasonal project. BUTTERNUT & SAGE felt like the perfect pairing for this design. The fact that it works with a LAYER CAKE is just the icing on the cake for me! Of course you can use yardage or your stash of your favorite fall feeling fabrics for an equally wonderful result!
